Clan Blue Bear
Blue Bear is one of the primary clans on the Great Plains, only secondary to Clan Ravenswatch who they perceive as rivals. They are staunchly anti-human and would like to see all human activity on the Great Plains destroyed. Their vehement hatred of humanity has led them to believe only a war that wipes out the Great City and everyone within can bring peace to the land.
Organisation
Blue Bear governance is structured around their High Leader, a senior figure who is technically voted into place by the clan. The High Leader makes all decisions for the future of the clan and has a circle of chosen advisors to aid him.
In recent years, the system has become heavily corrupted, with the current High Leader refusing to stand down as his predecessors have done to allow for a new shifter to take his place, while also ensuring that senior advisory positions are given to those he deems his allies.
The chronic corruption has led to a sharp divide within the clan between those who are in the High Leader's inner circle and those without. Even some senior members of the warrior class are beginning to question his leadership and there is rumours a coup is being planned.
Culture
Blue Bear worship the old gods, favouring the warrior deities who are said to have founded their clan. Their culture is primarily focused around military might and warriors are considered the highest caste. Those who do not fight are deemed weak and treated with disdain.
In the past, Blue Bear's warriors were bested in a series of battles with humanity and their ancient clan totem was stolen and taken back to the Great City. This left a festering resentment towards humanity, which has eaten away at the pride of the clan and been twisted by the current High Leader into an excuse for war.
Blue Bear believe they are the greatest shifters on the plains because of their descent from warrior gods and that they should be the absolute rulers over all the clans. Given a chance, they would conquer the plains and create a vast empire. Only Clan Ravenswatch can truly match them and stop their onslaught.

Raven
First appearance: Shifted Love
While Raven is a trained warrior he has never been entirely comfortable with the attitudes of some of his brethren in Clan Blue Bear, and this has rendered him an outcast. When his sister is harmed by the High Leader's son, he takes matters into his own hands with the result he is sent on a suicide mission to recover the lost totem from the city, where he subsequently meets Vox.
Mira
First appearance: Shifted Love
Mira is Raven's younger sister. Since the death of their parents, they have been vulnerable within the clan and Raven could not protect Mira from the predatory attentions of the High Leader's son. Raven will do anything for his sister, including sacrificing his life.
