The Dog Show Affair
Book 22
What could be more delightful than attending a dog show on a fine summer's day?
Tommy Fitzgerald has been informed his Labrador puppy, Pip, could be a show-stopper and accompanied by his sister Clara and Captain O'Harris it seems a good excuse to distract himself from Annie's increasingly frantic wedding preparations.
However, the death of one of the dog show contestants puts a damper on things, especially when Clara is asked to investigate what happened secretly, so the show can continue.
She soon discovers that her dead man has more enemies than friends and most have good motives to want him dead. Unravelling this tangled mess is challenging enough, but then another man is attacked and it seems the killer is not finished yet. Just what is occurring at the dog show?
Is someone trying to kill off their competition?
