A Winter's Tale

There was always a mystery surrounding the birth of John MacGuire, a secret no one told him.

His sister was not his sister, his parents were not his parents. He was found upon a stile in the depths of winter more dead than alive.

Yet he grew up not knowing this, grew up to be a dashing and strong young man.The secret seemed safe, except John and his sister Hetty had a problem.

They loved one another in a way sister and brother should not love and this was driving them apart. Hetty thought moving away to work would be the solution, but the further away from one another they got, the harder it was to be without each other.

But to reunite them and to allow them to be together, an old secret must be unearthed and only one man knows it and he is the one man the siblings dread to go near.
