An Act of Love

Amelia was twelve when her older sister ran away to avoid being forced into marriage, now Amelia is facing a similar prospect.

Her father has arranged for her to be married to Lord Derby, a wealthy older man she has never met before. There seems no way out of the situation and Amelia is desperate.

That is when she meets Lord Derby's secretary, Colonel Dunstan, and discovers what it is to fall in love with someone utterly and completely - but can Colonel Dunstan save her from a loveless marriage or will she find herself forced to the altar with Lord Derby?
