The Mayfair Mystery

An arsonist is at work in Norwich. What began as a nuisance has become deadly serious when a man's body is found in one of the buildings that burned down. The body is impossible to identify and the police are stumped.

Colonel Bainbridge is in the doldrums when Inspector Dougal asks for his help. The distraction is just what he needs, but when a bank is next targeted with people inside it seems the arsonist is intent on causing more than just material damage.

As Bainbridge and Victoria unravel the mystery of the body in the warehouse, they find themselves in the centre of a nasty plot that will put their own lives at risk.
