The Unwelcome Guests

Norwich 1898.

A sudden spate of well-organised burglaries has Colonel Bainbridge and his niece Victoria scratching their heads. The burglaries bear the hallmarks of a man who is safely locked up in prison and claims no knowledge of them. There seems at first no way to determine who committed the crimes nor to retrieve the stolen property.

Then a woman is found dead in a hotel and things are soon taking a darker twist. Is this really just about robbing houses or is something much more complex and sinister behind these events?

Bainbridge and Victoria find themselves swiftly in dangerous waters as they try to discover who is behind this remarkable crime.
